Hello I'm Kelsea Ghent, Founder and CEO of Melanin Mink Extensions LLC. I was raised in South Florida and one of our cultures as young ladies and women is changing our hairstyles frequently and investing in top notch hair quality. When I moved to Atlanta after graduating high school, I would always get compliments from others about how beautiful my hair and they would often ask what kind of hair was I using, from there sparked the idea to start a hair company that sold luxury hair extensions so other women feel the same admiration. The term(s) “mink hair” is a higher quality of virgin hair it is silky, very soft long-lasting and thick, it's a specific group of single donors, their hair is not altered by any chemical treatments dye, cuticles are the same in every direction and easy to color. With proper care, this hair can last 2-5 years.
